Caution advised: Thanks for your question. This is a very common question/problem. Abruptly stopping medications like celexa (citalopram) can causing something called the "SSRI discontinuation syndrome." This can cause dizziness, irritability, and "brain zaps." You will need to gradually taper off of the medication to minimize these symptoms. Talk to you doc!
