Symptoms: There are a vast number of symptoms of arthritis and the symptoms will vary depending upon the specific type of arthritis being presented. The most common type of arthritis is degenerative joint disease or osteoarthritis and common symptoms of it include multiple joint pains, swelling, and stiffness and difficulty with walking, and relief (at least initially) with anti-inflammatory medications.
