Plantar fasciitis: There are a number of possible causes and I would not hesitate to be seen. Among the more common is plantar fasciitis, which is thought to be an inflammatory contracture of the plantar fascia that supports the arch of the foot. Stretching the facia out or using an orthotic is usually the first line of treatment.
