No: we count from the FIRST day of your last NORMAL menstrual period. Many women do not keep track, and often an ultrasound is done when you are about 9-12 weeks to give a better idea of your due date. You would have to count forward 14 days (usually) from Oct 8(about October 22) and THAT is the day you conceived---give or take a few days. Discuss it with your doctor at your next visit.
