Hives all over body lasting longer than 24 hours, after taking monistat 1 (tioconazole). have taken benedryl yesterday, should i go to the doctor?

If not controlled: May try taking non-sedating antihistamine up to 3 x daily (more than the recommended dose) plus Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at bedtime. If the problem persists beyond 2 days, it is unlikely to be from Monistat 1 . If not controlled by antihistamine, then consider seeing an allergist. If the problem lasts >6 weeks despite control with antihistamine, an allergy consult may be considered as well.
