Anxiety: If you have a simple regimen and the new doctor feels comfortable with psychotropic medication management - there is no reason not to. But not all GP's feel comfortable treating psychiatric issues - so would check on this early on. It looks like you are only on valium - I try not to use long-term benzodiazapines for chronic anxiety.
