Chest pain?: Chest pain is concerning, although may more likely be associated with anxiety or acid reflux in an otherwise healthy 18 year old. Although sinus tachycardia can be from benign causes, the increased oxygen demand can trigger a heart attack (with symptomatic chest pain) in susceptible individuals. It is never unreasonable to seek urgent medical advice for chest pain with potential cardiac cause.
