I had posterior uveitis then cataract surgery last year. recently i was diagnosed with grave's disease. is all of this somehow related?

It can be but low: Uveitis can be associated with Thyroid disease but it is ususlly a very low percent around 2%. It is been found mainly in poorly controlled hyper thyroidism. You could be check to see if you have any other autoimmune phenomena that might explain your case. Your physician should be able to help you with this.
