I had a blighted ovum, discovered at my first scan at 12 weeks. i decided to allow the miscarriage to happen naturally. i am now on day 10 of bleeding, is it ok to wait longer or do i need the meds or d&c? not sure how long it takes for an infection.

Get examined: A GYN MD can examine you and re perform an ultrasound to determine if the uterus is now empty or not. If not, a D & C may be needed to avoid further bleeding or infection.
