Laryngitis: Following acute laryngitis voice should be back be by two to four weeks. You need voice rest , OTC cold medicine like acetaminophen .diphenhydramin. You can try home remedies tea with lemon, gargling with warm water and salt, vitamin c and ginger. If all doesn't help you need to see doctor if you have acid reflux or asthma.
