Hands numb & HAs: How long have you had these symptoms? How long are these episodes? Are you on any blood pressure meds? Any personal or family history of strokes or other brain disorders? Some of my patients with migraines complain of their hands going numb & this goes into their arms during an attack. Symptoms resolve when headache passes. Need to be seen.: There could be several causes but those symptoms deserve a good history by your medical provider, a thorough neurologic exam and possibly some imaging like a neck or Brain MRI. A cervical disc herniation could trigger headaches as well as cause hands to go numb and your provider can help determine if cause is in the neck or if it seems to have a different cause.
