Teething: It's a little on the early side (usually around 6 months) but it certainly can be at this time. Kids of that age do that anyway. Congratulations. It's an exciting time for you. Enjoy her.

Sign of teething: Drooling is normal and begins when a child is about 3 months old and lasts until he's between 12 and 16 months old.

Maybe/maybe not: Babies drool because they have no social conscience and don't care to swallow it. They suck on their hands/fingers as a method of self soothing. It may or may not be associated with tooth eruption, but you can think it does if you wish.
