No that is not true: but instead of picking first try salicylic acid shampoo and see dermatologist for great topical prescriptions to remove scales

I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp & ears. I've also been having issues with dry, flaky, peeling, itchy, irritated, sometimes red and burning skin in butt crack.
