i use of fluocinonide 0.05% topical solution for seborrheic scalp dermatitis ok over 2 wks? my derm. said its short term. no open sores, helps w itch.

Topical Steroids: Topical steroids can cause thinning of the skin if used long term. The usual use is twice a day for two weeks, rest one week, then repeat if necessary.
