Seek help: A tight and distended abdomen with pain is not something to take likely. It could be obstruction, reflux, a bleeding ulcer, gastritis etc- the list goes on. Please see your doctor asap for this- particularly with you history I would possibly consider going to the ER today. Other conditions can mimic this such as heart disease, diabetes (gastroparesis). You need a full work-up and exam.

Stomach ulcers: Usually, with bleeding ulcers, you would have either vomiting of blood or dark-black stools. With your abdomen giving you pain and dust ending, you should see your doctor sooner than later. If the pain is severe, unable to eat or the above symptoms, go to the ER. Avoid meds like Aleve, (naproxen) Advil or Aspirin. You may have to see a Surgeon or GI specialist for further management. GO TO ER, if worse.
