Leg cramps: Hello. Some of my patients drink a cup of tonic water or club soda before they go to bed because of the quinine sulfate in these fluids. It is rare to find quinine sulfate pills over the counter (OTC). Some of these sound strange but work for some patients. Home remedies: eating 1Tbsp of mustard, drink apple cider vinegar, applying horse liniment etc. OTC magnesium is good for cramps AND sleep.
