Headache, Panic: I understand your concern about stinging, stabbing headache Headache first on left side, panic attack, and then headache on the right side are warning signs of difficulty in coping with stressors in your life. At age 24, stressors of relationships, marriage, unresolved emotional conflicts, work and finances can cause severe headaches and panic attack. See a Psychiatrist for diagnosis and treatment

NO headache's normal: I often marvel when people ask if a headache is "normal." My answer? "Sure it's normal if you just got clubbed on the head with a pipe". "Sure it's normal if you've got MENINGITIS." "And NATURALLY, it's normal if you're the mother of 15 children all under the age of 3!" In every other instance headaches are NEVER NORMAL and so by all means see a doctor if simple measures don't relieve them.

Because this is a: "sharp stinging headache," visit your MD first to r/o physical causes, of which there might be many. These types of sx's can initiate a panic attack or be a sx of a panic attack, so eliminate the medical side first. If you are having acute anxiety w/o physical causes, then see a psychologist.
