Hello..i recently got eye lasik surgery about 2 weeks ago. while at work an hiv + patients saliva fell in my left eye. will i be okay or will i be in danger due to recent surgery in my eyes.. ?!

HIV transmission: is very unlikely with saliva. If the eye surgery was a concern to you, your skin covering over the LASIK flaps has already healed. So, I dont see an issue for concern there. Follow the protocol at your place of work for coming in contact with bloodborne pathogens and get tested as deemed appropriate. I don't think there is a case report of HIV transmission through saliva. Good luck.
