From the sound of-: -your treatment you most likely have degenerative arthritis in your knee also. Especially since you are receiving steroid injections. Also it is not an uncommon finding in your age group.

Talk to MD: go back and discuss with your orthopedic surgeon. Maybe not a joint issue, may have to see a rheumatologist.
