Might be...: It is very possible that this is related to an infection. In order to get a final diagnosis it is recommended for her to see a gynecologist for exam, testing and treatment. In the meantime avoid having sex until she gets a final diagnosis and avoid a possible infection to be given to you. If you are anyway going to have sex at least make sure you use condoms.
