A member asked:

What are the health risks of blocked fallopian tubes apart from being unable to conceive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pressure and pain: The Fallopian tubes are normally very thin and many times when they are blocked they will swell with fluid or blood if they are closed at the ends. This condition can be painful and cause abnormalities on ultrasound. As always, if you suspect this to be the case for you, please consult with your local doctor.
