Sinuses and PND: When you have a sinus infection, you may experience post nasal drip: drainage dripping down to the back of the throat. This can result in symptoms of soreness in the throat, and coughing. Sinus infections are variable in duration, but it's fair to say that they can be stubborn. If antibiotics are needed, it ins't uncommon to see longer courses of treatment - or several treatments in a row.
