Shaking side effect: Shaking is a possible side effect of Lexapro (escitalopram). It may go away in a few weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. If it doesn't go away or is too bothersome, you may consider changing medication, or you may find a little shaking is wrth the benefit to your mood. Just be sure you do not stop Lexapro (escitalopram) suddenly, it can cause a serious complication called serotonin syndrome. Best of luck!
