Is primarybiliary scerosis dangerous?

Extremely: Once the diagnosis has been made, you need to be followed closely by someone with a specialty focus on this. It is fairly treatable, and often lethal if it isn't treated effectively. Consider a second opinion, as this is for life. If confirmed, be brave and continue to proactive approach to your health that you've begun here. Good luck.

Yes and No: The chances of liver failure from primary biliary cirrhosis is dependent on how scarred your liver is. Although the name of the disease suggests cirrhosis- all patients do not have cirrhosis.
