First MS attack: Different people get MS in entirely different ways. There are really no common early symptoms. For many people, the first symptom of MS is their first attack, which may be a disruption affecting vision, walking, strength, coordination, swallowing, or sensation to touch in a part of the body. An attack normally lasts many hours to over one day.
