Not Jacksonian: Jacksonian epilepsy refers to the spread of involuntary motor movement in a pattern dictated by the spread of seizure discharges along the motor strip. For instance a spread from one finger to the others then the hand, up the arm to the shoulder and so forth. Since what you describe remains localized to your finger,it could be a partial seizure, movement disorder or tic. Speak to your doctor.
