I was just taken off 12.5 mg of atenolol after 1 year. it was cold turkey. i was put on coversyl 2 mg. my hr is going from 80s to 110. what can i do ?

Slow wean off: Even tho ur Atenolol was a low dose ur body may have adjusted to having it in ur bloodstream. I find it better to wean off that type of med by taking half the dose daily for a week and then every other day for another week and then stop it. Ask ur doctor if this would ok for you to do while still taking the Coversyl. atenolol was blocking the HR effect of ipratropium that u take. Coversyl doesn't
