Amlodipine & Coversyl Plus HD has not reduced bp, yet my Dr. keeps me on it. We've added 25mgs Atenolol 2xdaily. Why take unworking meds?
I started taking 5mg Amlodipine 2 weeks ago, along with my regular Atenolol (50mg) + Clopidogrel. Now I am having swollen hands, ankle and feet, warmth in my legs, increased urination at night and some dull chest pain. Are these caused by Amlodipine?
Dr. & I think Amlodipine is the cause of my burning legs/ankles. He says I can abruptly stop the Amlodipine, Pharmacist says 'no' Do I wean or not?
I take half tab of amlodipine 5mg and atenolol 50mg. And my BP 120/70 - 130/80 . M on strickly diet .Is my BP normal should I stop taking tabs.
