Here is ...: Artificially lowering high BP can be done through avoiding blood volume overloading by sodium restriction and diuretic use, and / or relaxing vascular wall by taking one of blood-vessel-wall relaxer such as perindopril - an angiotension converting enzymes (ACE) inhibitors, or lowering heart pumping by taking Atenolol; but their potential interacting & synergetic effect does exist.
