Possible: However, as this PSA level is out of range it warrants further evaluation. Also depending on the change of the PSA from the previous level this could also just be normal prostate enlargement. Please follow your docs instructions.

Psa: It is a worrisome spike in PSA. It could be prostatitis, bph, or worst case cancer. Best to get a rectal exam from your PCP or a urologist

Repeat test: Repeat test...If still up and Family Hx of CaProstate, then Biopsy. If up and no Fam Hx of CaP...Rx for 1 month with Levaquin (levofloxacin) 250 daily. If down..watch and repeat in 3-4 months. If up..Biopsy, Some Urologist are doing PCA 3 test to decide whether to Bx or not...Remember! No long distance bike riding, honeymoon sex, constipated stools, or colonscopy for 3-4 days prior to next blood test PSA.
