A member asked:

Aldosteronism with hypokalemia, treat 100meq/day k. have weak knees and vericose veins. 2days thigh twitching? related to potassium or knees?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Irritability: Such irritability may be due to low potassium, low magnesium, low calcium and a blood test should be done to check for these especially if the twitching is in scattered areas. However if the twitching is localized only ,it may simply be an irritable muscle or nerve that will eventually quiet down. Discuss this with your Physician.
