Talk to your doctor : In general the opiate analgesics lower the seizure threshold making it more likely to have a seizure. Talk to your doctor about your medication. Your particular history will determine whether or not you should take this medicine. You may want to try non opiates first. Conservative treatment such as rest and NSAIDs are best for back pain.
