Drug Interaction: Since creatine and Lamictal belong to different drug classes and are used to treat different conditions, interactions are unlikely. According to drugs.Com, creatine is not listed among the 3, 375 brand and generic name drugs and supplements known to interact with lamictal. Since creatine is naturally occurring, and can be found in a variety of food sources, it is most likely safe with lamictal.

Take different times: Creatine is a normal component of muscle. Some patients take it as a muscle builder, and it is a normal component of meats. As with most any additive agent, it is wise to take it with meals but not at the same time as medication. There is a chance that the pill form of creatine may interfere with absorption of your medication. Take separately by at least one hour between.
