It's been said lots of women have "period like" bleeding in early pregnancy. what is the difference?

Can't tell: It is difficult to tell the difference between menstrual bleeding and bleeding during pregnancy. A pregnancy test should be performed on any patient that thinks she is pregnant and is bleeding.
