BMP: Bmp is a basic metabolic panel which has renal tests (serum creatinine and bun) included. It could be that one or both of those levels were elevated. Your doctor needs to go over in detail what was abnormal and if necessary, send you to a kidney specialist (nephrologist) for further work up and evaluation.
