Normal: I am assuming the estimated GFR is 99 ml/min. While i join other pathologists and nephrologists who has little use for subscientific estimates of glomerular filtration rates from spot creatinines, this suggests to me that your serum creatinine was normal, and that your personal physician is not concerned either. I'm sorry you got a scare and glad you're taking a proactive approach.

GFR: Glomerular filtration rate, describes flow rate of filtered urine thru kidney. Usually measured as creatinine clearance rate & is volume of blood plasma cleared of creatinine in unit of time, usually/minute. Excellent measure of kidney function, usually 100-130ml/min. U r thus at lower limit of normal. Best avoid xs non steroidal analgesics (aspirin, tylemol, &ibuprofen) & xs red meat & illicit drugs.
