No but not unusual: Painless vaginal spotting or staining is fairly common in early pregnancy and fortunately resolves spontaneously and easily. If you are concerned you may want to request a "viability sonogram" which will confirm the location and viability of your pregnancy and offer you peace of mind and reassurance. Make sure your Pap test and cervical screenings are also normal.
