A few of my older dental fillings have mercury. are they safe or should i have them replaced?

Leave it alone: The old mercury-silver fillings are not likely to do any harm. You may leave these alone. Trying to replace these has its own risks.

Safe: The mercury is bound to the silver in the filling and will do no harm. You probably were exposed to more mercury the last time you had fish for dinner. Talk this over with your Dentist for more information.
