Possible gastritis: I would advise you to take OTC Prilosec for 6-8 weeks and see a gastroenterologist if the symptoms are not relieved. Please avoid OTC NSAIDS like Ibuprofen. You might have acute gastritis or some other inflammatory process going on. Hope this helps.
