Why Would U Want To?: While the risks of surgery are very low, we never operate unless there is a sound clinical reason. Why would you want this?

Depends. : Often a surgeon will take your appendix as part of an exploratory laparoscopy where he/ she looks for a cause. This prevents confusion in the future if your symptoms return. And sometimes patients feel better even though the appendix looks normal on pathology
