Propranolol.: The medication to try is a low dose of Inderal (propranolol). Start with 10 mg. an hour before your presentation but you can go as high as 20 mg. The unlikely adverse event is dizziness and light-headed with a decrease in pulse and blood pressure. The minimum dose for treating the latter is 60 mg. and usually twice that so the dose for social anxiety is very low.
