How would i know if my common cold is more than a cold ?

Common Cold: Need more info. Why are you asking? If you have sustained fevers, chills, cough producing sputum, chest pain or shortness of breath you must be seen and examined. Actually, if you have any degree of suspicion that this is more than just a cold the best thing to do is to err on the side of safety and see a doctor.
