Respiratory Issue: I would take him back and ask again. I would also ask for a better explanation. The most likely explanation is a mild upper respiratory infection, but it very important that an infant be able to breather through there nose while they suck on a bottle. This really needs to be looked at closely.

Common: Do a lifestyle audit.Make sure you eliminate any dust, fragrance,smoke, cleaning fumes, etc. from the babies environment. These all lead to upper airway noise and excess throat mucous. Use nasal saline to wash out any irritants that make it into babies nose.
