Could be allergies: typically allergic rhinitis also known as hay fever causes post nasal drip chronically and irritate throat ,sometimes causing cobble stone sign on your pharynx

Six weeks is a long: time. Either go back to your doctor or seek a second opinion. Make sure you are not exposed to some irritant that is making it worse all the time.
