Chronic sore throat: May be related to allergy envirnomental or food or reflux. Can try prevecid or ranitidine and see if helps ( for reflux) zyrtec or xyzal (levocetirizine) for allergy and elevate head of bed by placing a pillow under the mattress to prevent reflux and allow for better nasal drainage into esophagus. Also check TSH as thyroid disease can exacerbate reflux and check H pylori f/u with doc /urgent care.
