Yes and no: any chronic,multiple irritation to the throat will increase the chance of throat cancer.this is how smoking cause throat cancer direct irritation.now yelling in general does irritate the vocal cords and cause hoarseness .and that at least could confuse and delayed the early diagnosis since hoarseness is the first red flag for throat cancer.
