See a cardiologist: Many heart conditions are not considered genetic, and so would not be expected to be passed along to future offspring. Talk with a cardiologist or a geneticist to get an official opinion on a specific heart condition.

Can you clarify?: What is the nature of your husband's heart problem? The answer depends partly on what his problem is. Also what sort of action are you asking about?
