My 6 month old breastfeed baby just started solids and this morning i noticed a orange dot in his diaper. should i be calling the doctor?

Not yet: If you give him baby jar food, it often contains carotene, which is yellow/orange, and some undigested color may pass through in the stool. Another thing that causes an orange dot in the diaper when he urinates is the reaction of the urine with the drying agent some diapers have to absorb the wetness. It may show as an orange spot in the front where the urine hits the diaper.
