Avoid Alcohol : It is not safe to combine alcohol with valium. This combination is very sedating and can cause problems with mood and memory. It can also cause loss of coordination and slurring of speech. It can also cause respiratory suppression. See your doctor for an evaluation and alternative treatment options.
