Liver injury from an: Anything that damages the liver can cause abnormal liver functions.Besides viral hepatitis, excessive alcohol use can cause hepatitis...So can many different drugs like the statins used to lower cholestetrol.Then there are rare diseases like excessof iron storage from hemochromatosis and some enzyme deficiencies
